Master mason Leather Hat 56/57cm
The wearing of hats by Master Masons during their work dates back to the 18th century, when they were associated with the wearing of swords. The wearing of these two distinctive signs of nobility explains in part the enthusiasm of the bourgeoisie to be received as Masons at the time. The type of hat was not described in the old rituals, as it was a common headgear in secular life. Only certain Higher Degrees prescribed specific ritual headgear.
Today, some Rites prescribe a particular ritual headgear. The Master Masons of many Masonic Rites have opted for a flat, cylindrical hat, or Cap, particularly in the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite and the Memphis-Misraim Rite.

Handcrafted in Italy from smooth black leather, this Cap is practical to wear and goes equally well with all your outfits, giving you a touch of character.
The Nappa model is solid and sturdy, and will cover you from cool breezes to protect you from the sun's rays. It's also extremely comfortable, thanks to its fine fabric lining and internal comfort band.
Available in one size 56/57 cm, this Cap is primarily intended for female or mixed Obedience Sisters.
